President’s Message
On behalf of the seven new board
members, we thank you for your support in the recent election. A lot has happened since my last tenure as
President. Two new bridge clubs have opened
and have been successful. However, all
news is not good Our treasury has had
some significant losses due to unprofitable tournaments Most importantly, there is a great
deal of con-frontation between various unit
members. My goal as President and the
goal of the other board members is to attempt to bring
harmony to our Unit. We need to remember
that we play bridge because we enjoy the game, like the competition and strive
to improve our game and accumulate master points. With this in mind, we encourage you to
participate in unit games and sectionals.
Those of you who accumulate the most points (in your category) will be
recognized at our annual meeting in December.
